Welcome to the New York Oath Keepers website for contact information.

Oath Keepers is a non-partisan association of currently serving, retired and veteran military, reserves, National Guard, Police and Peace Officers, and Fire Fighters who will fulfill the Oath we swore, with the support of like-minded citizens who take an Oath to stand with us, to support and defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic, so help us God. Our Oath is to support and defend the Constitution and we call upon God to help us do exactly that. Our motto is “Not on our watch!”

New York State not only has millions of honorable veterans of the military, law enforcement, and fire-fighting services, but also many other honorable people who share the same commitment to our country. If you are one of these people, you are invited to join us.

Many of you who have come to this site already know there is a storm cloud hanging over the United States. Government officials are spending our children’s money, our education systems are failing when once they were the envy of the world, officials are by-passing the legal procedures for passing laws, and, instead, enacting their own policies masquerading as laws, trying to make good, responsible people into criminals, while, it the same time, they ignore the current laws by aiding criminals in this country illegally, and threatening those honorable law enforcement officials and entire states if they even attempt to protect their citizens from the illegal invaders being protected and encouraged to continue to break our laws by the highest office holders of our land. Those of us who have fought for this country, whether on foreign soil or defending our people in the streets of our towns, villages or cities, did not do so, so that the freedom we fought to preserve for this country could be destroyed from within.

Whether you are a Veteran of our Services or a Citizen who shares our deep feeling of obligation to make sure our country returns to the wise guiding principles of our Founding Fathers (as enumerated in the Declaration of Independence and our Constitution), you know our country and our people need us now. None of us can do it all, but each of us can do something to make sure all we need to do is done. Imagine if all those who are concerned about the direction we are headed would join with us to help encourage others, especially our military and law enforcement officers, and other elected or appointed officials, to live by their oath and the honorable principles expresses in the U. S. Constitution.

If you came here to see what you might be able to do, this is the main job I am asking you to do. Each one of us can learn more about why the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence say what they do and why our oath is so important. If you will give us the opportunity, we can help with this. And as you realize how fortunate we are to live in a nation founded on such wise principles echoed by our Founders, to help us live honorable lives, I hope you will realize, it is now your turn to echo those sound principles, as we encourage all our officials to meet their responsibility to honor their oath.

We the People have created this problem. We have failed to hold our government officials accountable. We have failed to insist they act according to those wise principles voiced in the U. S. Constitution, the core of The Law of Our Land. Till now, too often, they have gotten away with it. They are getting away with it now: Because we let them. That “WE” includes you. Now, many groups, but especially Oath Keepers, are here to say enough! A nation cannot remain free and honorable, if the people responsible for ensuring it remains so refuse to do their job by doing whatever is necessary to keep it free and honorable. Don’t blame politicians when we tell them we do not care if they treat us as their servants. We have allowed them to act this way, and, then, re-elect them to office. Why would they think they have done anything wrong? We are rewarding those who are destroying what has made this nation and its people great. And, yes, we still have the power to do a lot to stop the fall. If you are ready to find out what you can do to help, please contact the Team leader in the county where you reside. Their contact information is listed above. We look forward to seeing you at our upcoming meetings in your area.

FROM THE MEMBERS OF NEW YORK OATH KEEPERS

A MESSAGE FROM A PAST-PRESIDENT OF
NEW YORK OATHKEEPERS

Our Founders repeatedly warned us of the dangers that a free America would face in the future and that the most serious danger to our Liberty would come from the enemy within our own country. They also told us that it is not only an honor and a privilege to defend our Liberty, but that it is also our sacred duty to do so, not just for ourselves but for our children and our children’s children.

This is a critical time in our country’s history because our Liberty is once again in mortal danger, only this time it is not coming from some foreign power, but from attacks by our own government. Just as those brave generations of Americans have done before us, our fight for Liberty must be defended again, this time in 2014. We are the generation that must act NOW! This is Our Time to Stand Up and be counted! This is Our Time to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States and this is Our Time to join together as one united force and reclaim our precious Liberty in America!

For the Republic,

John Wallace

It is important to note that though we often use the term “government” when identifying the source of some of the problems facing the people of the United States today, it really is many “government officials” who are the real problem. The reason it is important to make the distinction is that you really can’t hold “government” responsible, but you sure can hold “government officials” responsible. To hold them responsible, we, first, have to hold ourselves responsible.

Remember the idea that we are a “government” of the people, by the people and for the people; so, ultimately, we are the government and when we say we have bad government, it is only because we are not doing our job of holding irresponsible or even criminal officials accountable. Think about that for a moment.

How many people do you know who are doing their part to make sure OUR government is good? How about you? Isn’t it about time you stepped up to do your part? John rightly points out that our responsibility is not just to ourselves but even more so to our children and grandchildren, and all our descendants until the end of time –the people the Constitution calls “…our Posterity…”. This is the obligation we have as people of the United States, to work to make sure the “…Blessings of Liberty…” are secured to, not just “…ourselves…” but to “…our Posterity…” as well.

We are about honoring our oath, our commitment to making sure the words and ideas expressed in the Constitution continue to guide us as a government, as a people; you can help us make sure this happens. Give us a call so you can become an honorable person helping to make us an honorable nation once more.

Dan Devlin, President
